Daniela is 3 kilometers of thin sand and calm water. Inundated with warm water from the North bay, it's a fine choice for those taking children to the beach.

There is little infrastructure, but it is replete with beach houses. For those who wish to escape the hustle, a walk along the sand to the beaches left corner - where Pontal da Daniela is - is a good idea. At the opposite end, a 20 minutes walk will take you to Praia do Forte, where the Fortaleza de São José da Ponta Grossa (fortress) is located.
