The Cachoeira do Bom Jesus beach is located between Ponta das Canas and Canasvieiras about 30 km from downtown. It is a very popular tourist destination with an abundance of hotels and summer houses.

The ocean is calm and the water isn't too cold when compared to beaches in other regions. There is a small waterfall, protected by green hills, which gives the place its name.

There is a reasonable tourist infrastructure, with a variety of lodging options and the added benefit of its proximity to Canasvieiras.
