Antiga Alfândega (3 fotos)
Inaugurada em 29 de junho de 1876, a Antiga Alfândega possui até hoje a placa comemorativa do evento, onde destaca os nomes dos presidentes da Província, dos responsáveis pelo plano e execução da obra e a data de sua inauguração.
Opened in June 29th, 1876, the Old Customhouse has until today the commemorative plate of the event, wich highlights the names of the Providence's presidents, the responsibles for the plan and the execution of the work and the date of its inauguration.

Mercado Público Municipal (4 fotos)
O prédio conta com 140 boxes onde é possível comprar roupas, utensílios, alimentos e artesanato. O destaque é o vão central, que com seus diversos bares tornou-se ponto de encontro para nativos e turistas.
The building has 140 boxes where is possible to buy clothes, utensils, food and handicrafts. The prominence is the central void that has plenty different bars - that's the place where natives and tourists get together.

Palácio Cruz e Sousa (4 fotos)
O prédio serviu de residência para os governadores no tempo da Colônia, para os presidentes da Província durante o Império e para os chefes do Executivo Estadual durante a República. Atualmente abriga o Museu Histórico de Santa Catarina.
The building served as a residence for the governors during the Colonial time, for the presidents of the Province during the Empire and for the heads of the State Executive during the Republic. Currently it shelters the Historical Museum of Santa Catarina.

Ponte Hercílio Luz (15 fotos)
Inicialmente chamada de Ponte da Independência por ser o primeiro elo de ligação entre a Ilha e o Continente, a ponte recebeu posteriormente o nome de seu idealizador, o governador Hercílio Luz, que morreu antes de vê-la concluída.
Initially called Bridge of Independence for being the first connector link between the Island and the Continent, the bridge later received the name from its idealizer, the governor Hercílio Luz, that died before seeing his work concluded it.
